Celebrating the past. Embracing the future.
The Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana is celebrating 30 years of fighting hunger across the region with the launch of a new logo that reflects the organization’s commitment to serving the people of Northeast Louisiana.
Established in 1996, the Food Bank distributed about 225,000 pounds of food in its first year. This past fiscal year, the Food Bank distributed over 8.3 million pounds of food through 55 local food pantries, meal programs, schools and other distribution sites. Nearly 32,000 people each month are served through the Food Bank’s community partners and in-house programs.
“It’s amazing to think of all the people we’ve been able to serve over the last 30 years because of the support of our generous community,” said Jean Toth, Executive Director of the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. “Every meal shared represents a neighbor cared for and reminds us how powerful our community can be when we come together.”
The Food Bank’s new logo introduces a refreshed visual identity and features a peach and an orange. The logo is inspired to represent the organization’s connection to Northeast Louisiana while symbolizing fresh food, health and community.
The modernized logo was created by SnapMe Creative Agency in West Monroe to help capture the Food Bank’s history, impact and vision for the future.
The Food Bank extends its appreciation to the thousands of donors, volunteers and community partners who have shared a commitment to feeding our neighbors facing hunger the last 30 years.
