Kacey has always been a family man. Whether he’s making biscuits before school, cooking meals for family gatherings, or spending time with his grandchildren, caring for others is at the center of his life.

Kacey lives in Jackson Parish with his wife and stays active caring for his animals, including a horse, a cow, chickens, and several loyal dogs. His greatest joy is his family, and he works hard to make sure his grandchildren have the food and support they need to thrive.

“They keep me busy,” Kacey joked.

Like many families across Northeast Louisiana, Kacey feels the pressure of rising household costs. When groceries, utilities, and other necessities compete for a limited budget, difficult choices can follow.

Because of support from donors like you, Kacey is able to turn to a Food Bank Community Partner when his family needs extra help. The groceries he receives allow him to stretch his budget and keep nutritious meals on the table.

“The Food Bank is a lifesaver,” he said.
